Files you upload: When you upload PDF or PowerPoint files, we securely store and process them to extract text and images for flashcard generation. Files and extracted content may remain associated with your generation history, Library folders, source evidence, or saved decks so those features remain resumable and available when you return.

Account information: If you create an account via Google Sign-In, we store your email address and name to identify your account and saved decks.

Usage analytics: We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data to improve our service. This includes pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns. No personal content from your files is included in analytics.

Uploaded files, extracted source content, card data, review decisions, and associated images are stored in Supabase (our database provider). By default, access is restricted to the account or browser session that created the job. Raw lecture and card content is not included in PostHog analytics.

We do not sell or rent personal information or lecture contents. For new generation jobs, eligible text cards and review feedback are automatically used to improve future cards. This is a server-managed process, not a card-preference setting. The trusted-card pool does not include lecture files, images, source excerpts, or account identity; reviewer identifiers are hashed. Cards require approval from at least three independent signed-in reviewers and fresh grounding in the receiving student's source before cross-user reuse. An incorrect report quarantines the card. Jobs created under the earlier opt-in policy retain their recorded contribution choice. This process does not make your library or lecture files publicly accessible.

Your optional display name, profile photo, and bio personalize your private account. Profile photos are stored in a private bucket and served through short-lived links after verifying your account.

You can edit or remove your photo in account settings. Previously issued photo links expire within five minutes.

You can delete your saved decks at any time from your library. To delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.

If you use the service without an account, durable jobs are associated with a private browser device identifier rather than an email address. To request deletion of an account, Library folder, durable generation data, or a trusted-card contribution, contact us at the address below.
